Concrete mix design

DMC provides the specifications for the concrete mix design and assistance in the preparation of the mix design with the materials available at your project.

The main parameters are:

• The concrete strength: C25/30 for blocks up to 9m3; C30/37 for blocks of 10m3-14m3; C35/45 for blocks above 15m3.
• The concrete must have the required mass density, corresponding to the hydraulic design of the project.
• The concrete must be sea water resistant and suitable for the climate conditions of the project. This affects the choice of the binders, the binder content and the water cement ratio.
• The concrete temperature during casting must be controlled.
