Our Blocks
DMC has been working on innovative solutions to provide effective defence against waves and currents since 2000. We have 4 main systems:
- Xbloc: A randomly placed concrete armor unit for breakwaters and shore protections.
- XblocPlus: DMC's new design; a pattern-placed concrete armor unit for breakwaters and shore protections.
- Xstone: Developed for nature inclusive design, fast production and low CO2, suitable for large-scale applications, both onshore and offshore.
- Xstream: Small Xblocs placed in bulk to provide flexible river systems and scour protections.
Within these 4 main systems DMC continuously strives to develop innovations to make our projects more safe, practical, sustainable and efficient.
