Our Blocks

DMC has been working on innovative solutions to provide effective defence against waves and currents since 2000. We have 3 main systems:

• Xbloc: A randomly placed concrete armor unit for breakwaters and shore protections.
• XblocPlus: DMC's new design; a pattern-placed concrete armor unit for breakwaters and shore protections.
• Xstream: Small Xblocs placed in bulk to provide flexible river systems and scour protections. 

Within these 3 main systems DMC continuously strives to develop innovations to make our projects more safe, practical, sustainable and efficient.
