Abu Qir, Egypt
Within the major expansion of Abu Qir port in Alexandria in Egypt, a 5,730m extensive submerged breakwater and 2,670m emerged breakwater are under construction. The breakwater is armoured with 14m3 Xbloc units and a total number of 35,000 units is expected to be applied.
