Doolin, Ireland

Doolin Pier is located at the West coast of Ireland. The existing Pier to be used for the Ferries is to be extended. The extention of the Pier will be armoured by Xblocs of 4 m3 size. The construction works will be carried out by L&M Keating Ltd.

Doolin is the third Xbloc project in Ireland. 2D physical model testing was carried out at the Hydraulic Laboratory in Cork. Xbloc casting has started in spring 2014.
