To reinforce the breakwater a new cover of Xblocs is placed at the harbour of La Turballe, France.
Following the rhythm of the tides, by working during low tide, a total of 4.000 Xblocs will be placed along the outside of the extended 550 meter long breakwater to reinforce it against wave attacks. Alongside the new breakwater, the harbour channel is dredged to make it deeper. As marine fauna preservation is important, the presence of mammals is checked before every operation and bubble curtains to cancel the noise of the work, are created.
