Moín, Costa Rica
In Costa Rica, a consortium of Van Oord and BAM International constructed the Puerto Moín Container Terminal for APM Terminals. The breakwater for this terminal is 1.5km long and is protected by around 14,000 Xblocs with a weight of 10 tons each. Production of the blocks started in August 2015. Van Oord started placement of the blocks on the breakwater in November 2015.
