DMC signed a license agreement with J.L. Polynesie (Vinci) for the application of Xbloc armour units on Tahiti, French Polynesia. Xblocs were applied as shore protection on the north side of the island. The design has been prepared by Egis Eau.

Xbloc production and placement was executed by two contractors, J.L. Polynesie and Boyer. The design consists of 0.75m3 Xbloc units and the Xbase were used as the first row of the shoreprotection.
